Well, it's finally time for the last update I'm posting here for this game. First off, I want to thank everyone who's supported this game! It probably would have never gotten this far without every yeah and comment it got. Second, I'm moving this project to my computer so it can see a steam release. I'll talk about that more later. However, that doesn't mean I'm done with Smile Basic.

You guys will get to choose what I work on next between these two choices: An RPG that I was working on before this game or, A recreation of the game that Lily and Chako evolved from

Here is what the RPG looks like. It's based off of FF1 and the Advance Wars series

And this is what Lily and Chako is based off of, or at least a recreation of it. Instead of an inventory, you switch out items as you find them to solve puzzles

Which ever screenshot has the most yeahs by Monday will be the project I work on first

I've stopped working on this version of the game so it won't be available on Smile Basic, but I am working hard on the PC recreation. I'm hoping for it to at least be on green light by the end of the year, but I'm terrible with deadlines.

so you wont be able to release a beta on smilebasic? because on an older post, you said you'll release a beta/demo

Well that was the plan then, when Smile Basic was the only language I knew and it was just a side project. Now, I'm spending almost all of spare time to get this on Steam. I'll only be working on the winner of the vote on my lunch breaks where I'm away from my computer

well the reason why i want it in smilebasic is because i never get time to use a computer and because mh brother hogs the computer

Hey Clepto, I would have to say the game lily and chako came from, but only for the selfish reason of wanting to learn from what you did. Aside from that, I just love platformers 0.001% more than rpg's! Also, since you've decided to quit here, does this mean you won't be on miiverse from time to time?

What kind of an RPG is it? Turnbased, strategy? Also how big would you plan on making the RPG?

cuz i like beta versions of games and if you release it on sb, then people who have a 3ds will be able to play it somewhere besides home amd i might be able to fix some glitches that are major

If he releases a beta, people could easily copy his work though. I am assuming that he's not releasing that on sb because of privacy

Ok Velocireed, please yeah what you vote for. Salkcin, it's a strategy RPG that's not too big. Im Old Man, well Velocireed pretty much covered it, but you have a good point as well so I'll try to come up with some middle ground. No promises though.

I can't imagine charging more than $10, but I'm going to aim for closer to $5

$5.00 sounds pretty good, if you did price it at $10.00 then i think it would have to be a fairly long and well thought out game...

I would totally try a demo of this on steam, or even buy it! It looks fun, and like it would have a good storyline...but just remember: add some easter eggs! :D
