Hi, everyone! I'm working on a program which is pretty much a collection of things I'm learning right now (buuton controls, simple simple AI movement, and background). I'm encountering a problem. When I press the R button the cat will change sprite images an leap in that direction.The problem is that there is this "black hole" that appears every time. To confuse matters further, (cont)

(cont) the leftward and downward leap have the same problem, but the upwards leap is just fine. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks for the help! You edited the sprite, didn't you? You should make sure the background color you used when you edited your sprite was "transparency", and not black. If this isn't the problem, then you're either deleting the background behind the cat or... I dunno.

Yes. I edited the default sprites a bit. I didn't do the transparency thing. How do you do that? Thank you!

There's a color selection when you're editing the sprites. I tap the box with a diagonal line through it. Then draw just like you usually would.

Oops. That's supposed to say "Just tap..." Not "I tap..."
