Early mockup of bottom screen UI. I'm not bothering to colorize this until it's implemented, but this is an idea of how it'll look.

Okay! Back to procedural generation. Here's the first iteration of my cave generator. It's just cellular automata with some tweaks.

Wrote a ROT(n) codec. Needed to take a break from dungeon gen :) Back in the day, people used to use ROT13 encoding in newsgroups to prevent each other from accidentally reading tv/movie/book spoilers, or punchlines to jokes...pretty handy!

My overlap checking code is frustratingly only working SOMETIMES. Can't quite figure out why.

Dungeon room generation continues...

Started porting my mapgens over. Currently, as you can see, the rooms don't care if they overlap! Whoops.

Yay! Bottom screen log window works! Now to add some other windows/panels...

Sometimes you can't get something to work in your game, so you take a step back and write a little test program and figure it out.

Made a slightly bigger test map. You can also see a bunch of debug stuff to the right. You can't tell from this, but now we have stereo panned 'bump' sounds when you hit a wall! hehe.

Was having a problem where if you walked over a tile it would redraw it in the wrong place after you left it. Used a small 2 element array to fix!

Whoops. Time to start using arrays.
