Thanks for the tips.
OK, time to think of something original for my own created characters (one of them is unintentionally similar to the Story of Seasons characters lol)
I've seen others posting screenshots of games here with copyrighted content such as Link (from Zelda IIRC), Pokemon, etc... Especially that modified spooky maze with a Pikachu lol.
Just to confirm, but copyrighted content aren't allowed to be published right?
I'll also be watching some sprites too from that VG Sprites website, especially my fave arcade game since 2002... Metal Slug. The bosses' sprites take a lot of space though, I wonder what program to use to do some extended/advanced sprite-making? (SmileBASIC's is of course just a compact version IMO).
Can you use more than 1 (or 2) Sprite/Graphic pages to do a single sprite animation?
Especially if the sprite is a bit too big and has more frames (example would be a battleship, like that one called "Big Shiee" from the Metal Slug games)
Occasional glitch in the Paint tool?!
This weird glitch occurs when you try to copy something, where that blinking image cursor is out of bounds of the copy position after you press 'A'...
Now to think what game I'll be creating...
Pokemon maybe? Side-scrolling action? Must watch other's projects first for some inspiration.
(Will do more sprites for animation soon)
Ahh ok.
BTW, does that UV coordinates also determine the pivot for rotation right?
Like for example there's a Yo-yo sprite... if the pivot is the center of the yoyo disc instead of the string, then only the string rotates.
Anyway, from that Halloween screen saver-type program, if I remove the + from the "XY+" from Line 79, that witch girl sprite will float as it goes to the right. Why is that lol?
