I don't think it really matters. Just get it to work, then, after you finish it, go through and make it more simple, like planning out what your limit is.

And anyways, don't be so sad. Nintendo is gonna release an actual version for 3DS. Most people cancelled their Super Mario Maker projects because the real one will be revealed soon.
