Hey there! I'm not sure why but you seem like the guy that would know how to do this but, 2D Random terrain generation? I'm making a terraria/minecraft clone that's gone well so far but I've hit a road block for the generation for the world, we can chat on Smile Basic Source about it if you'd like.
