I wonder why people make retextures but don't share custom stages.
I hope that you can make mods without using mario assets, so you can share them in the future.
Remember that if you upload that with copyrighted assets, then smilebasic will remove your game.
I'd tell you about the copyrighted assets, but other people seem to have it covered.
Did you consult with the creator before trying to re-release it? It's pretty rude to upload someone else's program without their permission...
Also, there is no point in releasing this with the official Super Mario Maker coming to 3DS soon.
Oscar, why so salty? Let people make what they want without having to be bombarded by an admin-wanna-be. The creator is japanese, and the closest thing to me knowing japanese is google translate. Of course, I won't actually PUBLISH the game again with all the graphics, (when done), I will most likely publish the game's graphics on it's own, and tell people the original public key.
And the reason I called it MAKER, was to avoid as much copyright trouble as possible. And if I WAS to reupload the game, game and graphics separately, I would leave the name of the original author in the game. I would obviously credit myself for the graphics. So to say, I would be PROMOTING the original game by telling people the original key, and making pople change the originl graphics.
There is no problem in promoting the original program by sharing the original key. However, I don't really see you doing that here, so it is understandable to assume something else...
It doesn't matter if you upload the sprites separately. They still contain copyrighted content. You should not upload any kind of copyrighted content whatsoever. Please help SmileBoom out by following their rules.
Hi, hope you still have Wartortle saved, since you haven't checked in for a while, drop by my Seaking post when you can.
We're gonna put your pic in at the end. :)
