I like how you made everything more cheery, and the countdown looks alot more friendly. The only problem is the numbers on the countdown go "1,2,3" instead of "3,2,1" which sometimes caused me to think the countdown was just starting when it hit 3 and it caught me off guard when the patterns started. Other than that it's a very nice game.

If your going to continue making updates do you think you could make it so that each difficulty level has more inputs than the previous one(For example: easy would have a pattern consisting of 4 buttons [A,B,X,Y] Normal would be 6 buttons [A,B,B,Y,X,A] and Hard could have maybe 8 [A,A,B,X,Y,X,B,Y] or more. Maybe you could also add more inputs like L and R (but only for higher difficultys).

Interesting execution for the inputs, I love the cool sprites. I actually have a different version of "Simon", it's a lot like the classic one. One suggestion is it starts out too slow and gets too fast quickly.
