Look up how to make a simple calculator. It's really easy and the reward to time ratio is off the chartable for a beginner

I remember those days. You'll get there eventually. Just remember that variable management is at least 80% of programming.

once you learn, it's just figuring out how to do things. for example, you're well acquainted with graphical and textbased games, but making an engine is difficult because it needs time and heavy work, with a lot of thought processes involved.
