I only know basic JavaScript right now. Would it still be possible for me to make games with this, or am I better off finding something else in the eShop?

it is a useful app, but there aren't very good tutorials. you could make a relatively decent game with this.

This language is very similar to Javascript And since you're not completely new to programming, you could make some really cool things with this
