Ugh why is there NO detailed guide anywhere!? Im new to this and all I know how to do is place a sprite & move it,play bgm, and bg color! I just want to make something simple, but I can't get any help!

Ok, since im new to programming I want to make my first project simple. ↓Goal↓ Be able to control the sprite in the middle to where I can move it Left,Right, and jump. Place 1 layer of dirt bg sprite at bottom for character to walk on

If you can explain to me how to do these goals, I'll be soooo happy! :D I would really appreciate any help! Btw, im taking notes so I can study these codes! But may we work tommorrow? Ima be heading to bed pretty soon.

Yeah, no problem. And don't worry about it. I was in the same boat trying to learn Petit Computer so I'm just happy to help. Moving is simple loading backgrounds is a bit trickier but still kinda simple. Jumping is the only complicated thing but it's still not too tough.

you can use SPOFS to define the X & Y positions. ex: SPSET 0,0 @A SPOFS 0,X,Y IF BUTTON AND #RIGHT THEN X=X+5 ENDIF GOTO @A

Yep, I haven't really learned anything new, which real agitates me.

I just have to go over BG collision, which sounds like it might have changed with the new update, and finish jumping. Would you like me to post what I have done or wait until I'm done?
