3D graphics + Cutscenes + Challenging Bosses = 10/10 Game of the Year. Bugtaro you should make another with voice acting. Can I make characters for you?
They sounded like boss music. You might need to add some more music in the final boss theme which is "The Last Stand." Completely sounded like final boss music.
What I might get you to do next Jackson, is put the animated sprites that you made into a small demo program, so I can see what it looks like in game mode. Are you in?
Alright, so the game I'm making is not your classic every day 2d R.P.G. it is a 3d oriented game, that uses a raycasting mode that someone made. So the sprites them-selvs don't move, I'll post the key for the test map. And remember, I'm not making the demo yet, just a test program to see how everything works.
Raycasting should be used in minigames-- We should make it like the Mario & Luigi games where theres minigames where you had to beat them in order to progress? Let's do it like that.
How about this? I'll use a bit of the P3D engine, I'll make a map with mountains and stuff that looks like a Final Fantasy game from the first Playstation.
As for the maps, we'll try it like the way you suggested it to me but I don't know how good the sprites would look on that kind of a map. But we'll see, who knows, maybe it will look better than open world.
As for the car, I think I found something you should study to figure out the details. If the P3D engine doesnt cut it for the game. Then the engine in this game will. It's a very very old post you'd have to spend five to eight minutes to find the code.
This is exactly what I want for the map engine, It will need some work, but I sure I can make it look awesome! Maybe I can combine it with the raycast engine, to make the walls look good. In the mean time, you should find out more for the Final Fantasy game map from ps1.
