Is anybody here patient enough to help me learn this? I really want to be able to program things but I'm having such a hard time figuring it out. Can someone with a decent amount of experience please help me?

You can go to the "Instruction List" section on the SmileBASIC website; there they teach you all the keywords and how to use them.

ON redirects the program to different labels depending on the value of the variable put into it. It will go to the first label if the value of the variable is 0, the second label if the value if the variable is 1, etc... There's also an in-game help feature that tells you how to use the command your cursor is on.

I've heard there's a tutorial on youtube: by 'SMILEBASIC' (sp?) I had taken 'Visual Basic' in tech school years ago, this is almost the same, with a few variables no pun intended,

Acls Spset 0,1021 Spofs 0,15,15 The (acls) is what clears the screen. 1 post left :(

Mike; Yeah I found his channel. But Youtube was acting up so I didn't get a chance to watch any of his videos. Zag; I entered the commands exactly like you told me to, but it kept returning "Illegal function call", and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.

Put the (Acls) IN THE 1ST line. Put spset 0,1201 I'm a 2nd line. Then pit spots 0,15,15 in a 3rd line. Than add (wait 60) in a 4th line.

SPOFS, not spots.

Ok so I had to enter the WAIT command, gotcha.

It works now!
