Depending on the target file or project, sometimes it won't load directly because of how SmileBasic is designed. That's when you press X instead of A to force load it to slot0. Try that!

can smilebasic see how big a file is?

Did pressing X resolve your error? I'd like to know :-] SmileBasic can and shows the file size in blue number as shown in pic, but this searcher/loader app doesn't do that - not its purpose.

That's the default loading method, but I'm guessing you haven't assign this app to the SMILE button yet, per step 1? To be able to load with X the app has to be assigned by tapping the 2nd option as shown in this pic, try it :-)

Ah, I get what you're saying. You're right, "Browse Project" won't let this app load anything. You have to go to "Create Programs with SmileBASIC" and tap the SMILE button there to be able to use the load function.
