You use KEY$ to detect keys. @LOOP IF KEY$=="A" THEN PRINT"You pressed A!" GOTO @LOOP

For a more 'professional' look try: WHILE TRUE 'the while command does the loop until the thing isn't true but TRUE is always true so it is the same as @ loops then instead of goto @salad you can jsut say WEND.
