Back to the uploading part...usually when uploading folders, you select "Select file" You need to press "OK" instead to upload folders.

You can use BG or SP loaded as GRP0.

You use a sprite drawing program (preferably the sample) to draw sprites, and save the sprite as a GRP. Sprites can then be loaded in program as a picture (GRP0) or a character selection (GRP4)
