Also, the console versions may be the same as the original at first, but it still classifies as Cave Story Plus since there are extra features. Hence, not original. The original one only currently exists for PC and a PSP homebrew title. The original is about the same but the only menu options are New/Load game, because it doesnt come with extra stuff like the steam version, CS+ did

Good point after all its under $10 but CS+ has extra features that some people don't care about. Although you are right. Besides, I wouldn't want to decrease sales on Nichalis's already available port and litterally SB and CS3D are almost same price. Not alot of people buy VVVVVV on the 3ds anymore so yah

Look, it sounds dumb but actually CS is freeware. If you dont believe me go to cavestory.org and youll find the official website where you get it free. The console ports of the game are actually based off of Cave Story+. Hence, as long as we credit Dokustu Monogatari (original creator) we should be good. Cave Story is such a good game. wanna port the original?
