Ohhh Well this looks more like it's V6 inspired crossed with N+ challenge Either way I think it looks great and I hope to play it sometime! I'm trying to learn to program but so far I've only replicated the Mario Theme via BMGPLAY, but I've read a lot of the other functions. I make comics here more than learn to program, though xD

Pardon my thoughts but that seems like VVVVVV upsidedown xD When did V6 release? Because if you made ^^^^^^ back on the DSi, could you have made that before it? I liked V6, so if your game is anything like it, I'd like it.

If you mean you have an earlier incarnation of this game, I was not aware of it! Do you have any games published on SmileBASIC? I'd like to try them Stars seem fine to me. Better to have a new item than one that makes no sense. Dots could work too, but Stars may be better

Yes!! I first thought this was a progress update, then I thought it was the finished thing! Then I was like, "oh, wait, yeah it's an update" xD Quite looking forward to this. I haven't had any games here on Basic I was looking forward to being finished other than this

Slight edits here; change of tone, removal of @START (because in early programming, I had it loop after a WAIT60*8 then GOTO to go back to line 5.), and some timing adjustments (I need to do a lot of that....)

No. Just makin' the music. Because of copyright laws, I cannot publish and share the Key to my program. I'm merely learning how to use SmileBASIC, and sharing my progress to my friends and others. Everyone is free to emulate my program here, because I can't use it for a public project anyway xD

Progress, but the timing is a bit off. Btw, if a program gets removed for "copyright infringement", does it simply get removed or does the user get penalties? Just wonderin'.

I noticed it said "ported by" on the title. Idk what PICO-8 is, but I assumed Celeste was originally some web-issued game by 2 people, then ported onto SmileBASIC by another bloke. PS: thanks for answering my question(s)

Okay, so what if I made characters and a story inside the game, that was original (obviously, because otherwise SmileBoom takes it down), do I retain copyright for those? I'm personally more concerned for my game's characters than the program itself. Btw, hi V360! I was the Owain that was so excited for your Code_Examples coming out soon. If somebody publishes their work while "allowing secondary use", do they still retain copyright of their work? I'm hoping the people who made Celeste and Lunar Saviors get to keep the credit and ownership of their own games...

@Oscar, that's what I thought. what if I remixed it? I know that's not technically original, but will it pass? also, does Secondary Use meaning others are freely allowed to use my works without me having ownership of characters or themes/music I created? @Mega, Hey, I messed up, I started the theme on the wrong note, it really starts on E, not B. I'll show you later after I've worked on it more
