As long as none of the characters are or look just like Pikmin, the game's name doesn't include "Pikmin" in it, and that no other copyrighted material is in the game, you are free to make and publish anything that is appropriate.
Also, its SmileBasic that takes down infringing games, not Nintendo.

...but the map is very barren, at least in the beginning. Maybe some trees or rocks would spice it up?

The program is very smooth though, great job on that! Effects are pretty good, too.

Here's the typo thing I mentioned.
Oh yeah, and if you press X to save, and say "no" to /not/ save, the textbox "Data saved" appears.
Anywho, the battle mechanics is pretty good, although I didn't recall seeing an enemy HP bar, even without specific numbers, a general indicator would be nice (I'm too spoiled by FE and Pkmn maybe)
The "overworld" is like that of Zelda I, and is nice but...

3. In the credits, you put in my alt's name instead of mine xD "Owain" is a Fire Emblem character that could be any "Role Player" on Miiverse. There are practically no other "Gills", and as such it's identifiable to me xD
The credits alone arent that big of a deal to make an update for, but if you did make an update, I'd personally appreciate switching Owain for Gills :)

Okay so I'm kinda just taking myself to be a tester here, so I've played about 10 minutes and found it casually enjoyable :) However I've found a few minor errors that could be fixed if you made an updated version.
1. In the starting text, you put "get to the answers" instead of "to get the answers"
2. (as seen in screenshot) the "Special BGM" shares the desc' of the previously viewed shop item.

Well I am still a bit in the dark as to the plot and general theme, beside it being an eagle's-eye RPG (with maybe turn base battles I believe I saw?)
So ideas are kinda hard to give last minute ideas when I'm not sure what is already there xD
But looking forward to trying it!

The... the whole thing?? Woah oDo I'm guessing it'll take awhile longer, huh? Well, it's better to wait and have a fully-done game, than a rushed one. How'd you get a bunch of bugs? Did the program get too complex and kinda cave in on itself? (not literally)
Btw, any word on the BASIC teacher/quiz app you were making? That's been my most anticipated work from you xD
