How do I make touchable sprites on the bottom screen so that when touched, they do stuff like say HI on the top screen if that is even possible?

Whenever I make a sprite from scratch on this art tool thing, I save it, but when I use it in my program it isn't there. Help?!

How do I make it where you can make a sprite do a walking animation AND move around the screen at the same time?

I can't seem to figure out how to fill the ENTIRE screen with grass whenever I try I am always one block thingy off (P.S, I am a noob at this, so don't judge meh)
