@lalafel: probably yes, though I'm not sure of how deep will it go. @nathan: no, since I already use all the available bg layers. I just made it using the graphic editor and loaded it as a graphic page.

I used the smile tool. I posted a "tutorial" program on how to load it some days ago. Maybe you can try downloading it and see if it helps.

Just copied it from the map making tool. It's apparently the max amount of data a map layer can hold. The 64s from the BGSCREENs also come from there. Changing them messes up the map.

I kind of see a for without a next, at line 11. You can use "next x" with x being the variable instead of just next. Makes keeping track of multiple nexts easier.
