I know the basics to BASIC, but I need to know more so that I can make a game successfully.
That being said, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND LESSONS FOR BASIC?
night drive realese once you press -a- on the home menu you enter the game then you can use the d-pad to move your car its cool just to watch the car sprite move :D
Well, it's been a while, but I'm coming back to this. I'm starting to get really dissatisfied with some of the programmin and code structure, though, so I believe that a restart on this project is in order...
Hope no one minds me asking, but could somebody here please give me some clear basics on using BASIC? I've read through the manual a few times now, but I'm still struggling because I don't exactly understand the formula for it all, if that's how you would describe this kind of problem. Does anyone here know how to explain BASIC practically enough that I can piece it together mentally and use it?
On a different-ish topic from my previous post, I DID successfully make a test program that records MML from notes pressed on a keyboard, so that should be helpful when I get to the 'virtual MML controller' part of BitByte MML!
Well, the progress of this game has been slow... I tried to implement entity-component system but failed so I will keep the "god" entity to store characters, attacks and animated tiles.

I need to take a pole.
During battle, do you think it should show the characters, or not.
(The screenshot shows it with the characters.)
