Explanation: A while ago I purchased petit computer which could be described as the "old" version of SmileBasic. I am working on making a fan made halo ds game and I was wondering if you guys think I should keep doing what i'm doing or upgrade to SmileBasic. Post your answersin the comment section please.

yeah, tho ive never used the old one i have heard that this one is better (and in my preference it is) also by all means, make halo 3ds. (if it turns out well i will gibe you free... oxygen, and free random numbers like these 268379943246042126975532245330642883214790524773) (lol jk)

you should upgrade. petit computer cant really handle any 3d but smilebasic can handle mode7, p3d, and if you have a new 3ds, raycasting. these 3d modes can help you with your halo ds

tbh I would recommend using a completely different software.

I am reluctant to use a different software because I want the game to be open source and playable by everyone. If it was code where you would need something like an R4 card nobody would be able to play it. Also, I have already completed around 1/10 of the game.

I mainly need to work on audio, finishing graphics, and getting the buttons to work a little bit better.

I recommend you hop over to SmileBASIC, it's newer, faster, simpler, and the audience for your game will be much larger.

I was a upgrader from petite to SB, I say go for it, it's definitely worth it.
