The next version of Lasership is now available! I've added ship damage and color customization. No, nothing has been removed, what you see in the screenshot is part of the damage system. And, oh, oops! Forgot to add more parts! The key is NR4PPEC3.

I'm going to take a break from Lasership for a little while. I'm going to start developing a logic simulator or a computer simulator and a space-based survival game once I finished either of the two. Shouldn't take long...

For the space survival you should do a 2d No Mans Sky inspired game

I'll have to see what that is. Sounds interesting. For my survival game, I was planning on something like Space Engineers, but without the intense, 3D graphics and the physics.

The Space Engineers Game would be a good idea. It Could have the Physics to. and you could use P3D to make 3D Models (Low Def), and Raycast. But that would be Very Complicated and Hard.

That's why I'm not doing it. But I might do the physics thing. I'll make the ships drift around when there's nothing to stop the movement. Still complicated, though.

Would it Have a Build System? if you made it?

I'm working on it right now! Build system, as in build a ship part by part like building a structure in Minecraft block by block? Definitely!

I might need help with screen scrolling. I was thinking of changing the background and teleporting the player to a corresponding edge of the screen. I would like a better way.

3rd person. I haven't even touched 1st person yet. I would like it to be a vertical and side scroller.

I've started working on the space survival game. In Asteroid Survival (I guess I'll call it that), you start with a ship which you have to add parts onto to upgrade. Not quite sure where to start.
