There might be someone that knows what happened on the Petit Computer Wiki chat. That's usually where everyone goes when SmileBASIC Source is down.

It's too early for an R.I.P. There may be a number of simple reasons-- config files got accidentally deleted or domain name renewal hiccups. Usually takes up to 72 hours to resolve. Give it some time.

I had a N3DS as my only device for 2+ years and it worked just fine.

Our phones are closer to analog flip phones so they don't have a useful browser. We do have another desktop computer, but that needs a new ssd. My mom has a tablet but won't share it. We also have a laptop but it's outdated and gives the Windows blue screen of death when I try to run CCleaner. LOL

I might get an N3DS soon. They seem pretty cool. My current 3DS is an old one and feels like it will fall apart. It's like that because I had to replace the screen.
