i would like to undo the making the background move but when i take out bgofs it just makes me not move at all.

Do you want the sprite to physically move and the level stay still?

Looks like the sprite never moved to begin with, it's just an illusion with background scrolling.

yes exactly, i had in the begining had it moving but took that out to make the BG move, but now i want it to go back to not moving the BG and just the sprite moving. (i forgot what i took out)

nm i went back to my noob days and found what i did. hows my very badly made ship map thingy look?
