if you hit a person 3 or more times for 5 sec it should be a combo the combo conter counts your how many combos you made or appears when you make a combo or 2. you decide!
well, have you heard of this game called Lazer Wars?
The mechanics are pretty simple, you and another player are both in your own ship, and you try to blast each other with lazers. Maybe, you could do something like that, but with an AI, and if you hit it, you get points. The more points you have at the end, the better prize you get, and said prize could be used in the actual battle.
Also, I'm pretty good with graphic design, and could help you out with your title screen, and perhaps sprites duking it out below the information areas
Nope I'm good with this title. Besides, the red sprite is movable with the D-pad. Lazer Wars would be great! I just need you to write it and publish to me so I can add it to Duo Battle. Also, you will be added to the credits under Minigames, so special thanks for the ideas!
If I add this command, you guys will need to buy better sound pack, but some of you are eshop broke, not to blame those who are. Should I add the advanced sound pac to this?
Any other votes? I will accept 8 more.
I need 1 more suggestion for Duo Battle 2.
@Wakko
Why should I not?
@Victor
I'm still waiting for your minigame, Lazer Wars, and any other minigames you wish to add to my game. I will add a special Duo Battle title to all posted minigames, mostly to avoid copyright infringement.

Stop! I have a better idea! I upload the game, and you upload minigames! Minigames are uploaded seperately, and when dowmloaded, users can copy file to Duo Battle 2 project folder.
Duo Battle 2 executes your work using EXEC. Please keep that in mind.
When your work is ready, please inform me so I can upload the game folder. Then upload your work and present keys in my Duo Battle Series discussion.
This game is a work of ours, and this version is only the beginning! This is a start that will go down in history! You are a fame in the game, →Victor←!
Oh, darn! I just realized I have no idea how my prizes from minigames can carry on to the official game! Perhaps a cheat code that you can enter that applies the prize?
Actually, cheat codes are a good idea. A random code that you see after winning a minigame, and then as comments in the minigame programming, you can input what the code is valid for. I will register the code in my game, so the prize is valid. All you have to do is create the cheat codes and ensure that when the user wins the prize, the cheat is diaplayed. Panic over.
Ok, I'm super-duper sorry about my absences, but now I'm ready to make some mini-games! Also, Lazer wars is a completely seperate game from LazerCats, and I didn't make it. Hopefully we can find the creator of it, and talk to them about it. For now, I'm going to work on original minigames. Mabye I could revamp the title screen too?
Sorry for that slump in programming, schoolwork got in the way.
What are you talking about? I never said I was taking Lazer Cat! Also, it's just a title. I lose motivation to make some games, and they are now sample titles.
I just keep getting wiser. You can use KEY command to register codes. The keys will replace the words at the top of the keyboard, and on Cheat Menu just press the button with the key and enter it. This is how it's done...

I have honors classes, aka lots of extra homework
Camera club, after schools twice a week.
Student council, which is a big time commitment
And boy scouts.
So yeah
Dude, I can't do this.
I'm really sorry, but with my lack of proper programming skills, and my busy schedule, I don't think I can manage to do this.
Sorry, but you should really find someone better suited for this project.
-→Victor←
Wait, are you really sure you can't do this? You shoudn't give up this quickly. If you tried, you can possibly be our official Minigames developer! So what do you ?say
I don't care how long this takes! You can go ahead and tell me what cheats you can use, so I can upload the digital game cartridge much quicker! So, what codes will you use in prizes? I'll make up what the prizes are. You make up the codes!
Seriously, I don't think I'm equipped for this, and to be honest, I've made not a single complete minigame, nor do I have any determination to make any.
Like I said before, just take these Ideas and work on them with other people.
I'm really not good with responsibilities like this, and with each day that I come home and relax, I keep on remembering this project, and the guilt keeps on coming.
You have a good heart and wonderful ideas, so don't let someone like me keep you down!
Just find a better partner, someone with inspiration, and programming will be much, MUCH better for you.
I'm really sorry for delaying so long, but my lifestyle just isn't cut out for this kind of thing.
At most, I'm a casual programmer, and not someone to be partners with.
You can still make the mods for me, though, if you want.
Try to make the mod labels in this format:
Mod source(Mod name)
The unlock code can be anything you want it to be
Here is an example of a mod label: Minigame(powermod_S)
Although, I understand your problem. Even if you do quit, you are still honorable for giving the idea!
I only need to wait for the codes, not the minigames. If I don't know what codes you will use before I upload Duo Battle 2, they won't be valid in the game.
