Like here, the player I can't just say, determine if the player is movin further right or down and use that. ... At least, I think.

...I don't know what you're trying to say, but I think it detects bg tiles when you use bgget. So even if you run into a wall, you shoule stop if you pit in the right parameters. Hope that makes sense.
