oh really i am in chineese[manderin] lvl 2 and that is the symbol for person it is pronounced rén you say it like a question so in other words you have a rise in tone as you say it kindda like sayin "ren?"
I understand it's hard for western people to distinguish 人 from 入. The symbol for person is the former, and I guess the symbol drawn in attached photo is the latter. The latter symbol means "enter" or "insert".
