Hey, I don't know if you saw my comment on the Originality discussion, but I mentioned that Yatzy is actually a public domain game. The name "Yahtzee" is copyrighted by Hasbro, but they don't own the Yatzy game itself, like I said it's public domain. So you can actually publish it under the name "Yatzy"! It really isn't any different than making, say, checkers or chess in SmileBASIC.
I'll think about it. I'm fond of the Yahtzee ruleset, and Yatzy seems to have a slightly different one. Even though Yatzy doesn't have any "official" rules and was made to be modified, I feel like it would be against the spirit of the law to just release "Ed's Yatzy" with the rules lifted from Yahtzee.
