I want someone to instruct me on how I would go about with importing sound to SmileBASIC. I don't think I can use Petit Modem, if that is involved, but I have someone who could do it for me. I don't mind compressing to an extent if that is needed. I don't even know how to begin though.

The only way to import stuff(sprites, backgrounds, music) from pc to SB, and vice versa, is by petit modem. It's really easy to use, if you can take the noise if you don't have the cables. You can either use the cables or just put your 3ds up to the speaker. Go to smileBasicsource.com for more sb stuff.

I think suggesting people to go to external places violates the code of conduct.. I know about Petit Modem, it fails to work for me though. I am not wanting to use MML if that's what you thought. I want to do something similar to what Rei did when they ported made "Bad Apple" in SmileBASIC. If you've been to SmileBASIC Source, I'm assuming you've come across that program. It's interesting to me.

Um, its actually pretty complicated either way, you need petit modem and its MML, also sbs.com is a great resource, so go join that community, its better. MML IS SOUND. So you want a video? Or just sfx/music?

I want to use a voice clip. I know MML is sound but to my understanding, you can't put create something vocal using MML. Rei, who created Bad Apple for SmileBASIC, was able to. I'm looking for someone who knows how to do something similar. To be honest, I have an account on that community. I'm just invisible there because I've been awful maybe.

I know you can use the wave recorder in SmileTOOL to record and save 1 second samples and use them in your games. It's probably also possible to record multiple samples and play them back-to-back to make one long sound.

Recorder? May I see a screenshot? Sorry, I haven't heard of this. That sounds like what I'd need though.
