Mario Kart clone, anyone? This engine could be used for one. Its main problem is speed. It would probably be exclusive to the New 3DS or Wii U. Wii U is probably the only one that could reasonably run it.

Sure, the maps, I could probably do the sprites. Try to get at least the first and second maps from the mushroom cup or better yet make a clone of it. I'll see about the sprites.

Have you tried F-Neko? It also uses a Mode-7-like code if you are looking for something to draw frkm.

I believe F-Neko gets enough speed by interlacing the graphics i.e. only rendering every other line at a time.
