im planning on making a Super Metroid game that has pretty much a world builder / random generator but i have no knowledge on how to do this. i have on just began doing what i do know how to do and thats the text fonts and Samus sprites, however i have a bit of an issue, i don't have a way to look at the spites enlarged enough for me to recreate them pixel by pixel. would someone like to assist?

you dont 'own' metroid, so if you publish it it will be removed by smilebooom and you may loose access to the sb server

You can make a Metroid like game or a Metroidvania as people would call it, but sorry, I don't know how to code yet

i never intend to upload it. i only want to make it out of boredom of the same layout of Zebes. i dont have a computer or id be playing roms. the "assist" was me asking if anyone knew some coding that could help with making the world builder/random generator idea.

I can't say I would recommend random level generation for a Metroid type game as all the back tracking and interesting hidden locations are what makes it interesting. It isn't the sort of thing random generation is good at. That being said you would want to think of a level as a number of interconnected rooms. Usually with a hallway or ladder in-between. For each room randomly connect it to anoth

i was beginning on thinking about how well that sort of generator world function after seeing a screenshot someone posted where the game didn't care if the rooms overlap.
