Don't worry TruMario. Go to http://www.smilebasic.com/ or if your having trouble or dont want to go to smilebasic.com, then ask me! (i dont know everything about smilebasic, but i know some stuff thats useful)
in edit mode, thats where you type the code. in direct mode, you can click run on the top right of the keyboard, and then press A. (it will run the code you wrote)
You can start by reading code other people have written. I tend to write One Screen Code challenge to help people. Then you look up documentation to see what each command does, and try to understand the program. HTH.
