How do you make sprites move?

Hi, how can i loop a background? i mean, like an infinity clouded sky moving to left (not right and left, just left).

the only code you really need. this is only works for the dpad, if you need the circle pad thing[left of 3ds/2ds lemme know i know that too]

Thank you, I figured that algorithm too, but that makes a "jump", it isn't smooth, I need something that repeat the bg just as the last one shows. Btw, do you speak Spanish?

yea its pretty rough but i wanted to show the general idea, will improve soon, im planing to make a " beautiful background" program that includes slick scrolling and color plalette changing for dynamic colors. but thats only a few things about it. also yes, I read, and speak but have trouble writing in spanish
