I am new to this, but its not as bad as it seems, take your time and read and mess with premade codes for a starting point, look at how they effect the game
Agreed but it was powerful for those willing to take the time to learn it. Past version was used to remake megaman 2. This version is supposedly way more powerful. Still not beginner friendly but it's not trying to be. It's trying to be flexible and powerful which this version succeds at wonderfully
Well, i payed 8 dollars for something that had no tutorials, and every game took 1700 QR codes, im not reliving it.
I used it as a Megaman 2 Sound Test and some SHarvest ShMoon
This one does away with QR codes and sharing projects is done over the Internet with a very short download code. Not gonna lie it's still a pain in the butt to learn how to make games in this version as it was in the previous but project downloading is now effortless.
Hmm... I might just keep this in mind...
I also heard that you can make 3d rendered stuff or was that a lie?
Eh, either way, Ocarina of Time confirmed in two years
While an Ocarina of Time port *could* be made!..
It would probably run at about one frame per day! (In other words, SmileBASIC doesn't natively support 3D graphics.) :P
Any 3D graphics you do see are from the people who really know what they're doing, but they're limited to stay pretty simple since SmileBASIC just isn't powerful enough to do much better.
