It appears that you're displaying a set of ripped images from Super Smash Bros. Hope that helps.

^ That made me chuckle XD In all seriousness though i'm trying to make a character select screen mockup, and I haven't made any progress whatsoever other than the roster slots and a moveable cursor.

If you're doing it Smash style, you can use hit detection between the cursor and the slot graphics.
