I'm not sure how I would include 3D right now. I'm just focusing on the mechanics at the moment. But I can say that eventually I'm going to redo the graphics. These are just placeholder sprites that I'm using for the mechanics. I'll work on 3D if it won't look forced when I improve the sprites
Just put the darker back wall in the background, but leave the player sprite and the playfield at a depth of 0. Don't have anything jutting out of the screen.
The chunky pixels look quite nice, I think :)
Thanks for the input, but that's all one bg layer. This is just a room for testing things like gravity and movement. when I feel like all the character functions are done I'll make more complicated rooms with 3D potential
