ok working on DT-ATOAMATLK load and gui game interface recreate all art to it for a hi-res look from the 256 color used in ptc trying to keep it as close to the ptc version but refind it to look way better with new color pallet i chose...also rewriting all 5 of my lib files for ptc version of game to be converted over to smilebasic for accessed from engine. also added all music too library...

ok been working and treaking and testing heavily today with the new code I added for new attributes im adding to game....right now working on the attack part of the algorithm for calculation of players attack

here is a module that I hope you will better understand how data works just run it for a while to see how it works and look at the code in editor I comment the code to break it down for each step. if you have volume up you will hear it speak each letter to the color on the screen at that moment enjoy. the key be open till 1/18/16 for DATA_HELP key > D3DZ473

I'm asking this question on limitation of smile basic with grp image, sprite image, and bg image what the color limit and use limit of each and is grp handled the same as sprites? 2nd. I ask this before hand to compere smilebasic with petit computer on limits as I port my game over to smilebasic and better understanding on rewriting the game engine for smilebasic. thankyou for your input!

So what do like about RPG's

To keep a open mind so I don't create my game for just me, So i'll like your input plz. So what do you like about a RPG you may have played in the past and what you wished was in that RPG?

I figure I'll upload the test module instead of you typing it in added little stuff for fun nothing grand. just run the one that say runme on it it will stop and end itself when done have fun with it! Note it will be hosted 01/01/16 - 01/09/16 after that you will have to type in yourself.

as you can see i use some as a global variable so made this test for SB not sure if i can write to a slot from slot 0 tho. im uploading 4 image for all slots to use the the module i made

So on PTC I was able to use variables from previous program I ran as long I did not use CLEAR command before prg loading ect. here my flow of what i mean dt_runme main start clear all set up new arrays links to dt00_lib load all music in memory links to dt00_ani runs logo animation and story with sprites link to dt01_dat main game engine and so on you get the idea.

so how do i get by the to go deeper in the cavern may be a bug in your code or maybe im over looking something like a teleport, nice old time rouge game haven't play a game like this for a long time. your doing a good job on it and it fun even tho it not complete!
