ok i started making the dragon quest story.

well i got sb finally... YAY PARTY!!!!

so this is for Jacob Elijah and *J.P.* lastest added things, main walking and player rotation that stays in its place. trying to make a player sprite test. will add a fake gun thing when done to test. post stuff here. please. i beg of you. also need help with shooting funtions.

many of you know that i own SB on my 3ds but i was thinking about getting it on my 2ds because my 3ds screen is.. well lets say partly broken making games hard to code on the touch screen. i am currently saving my money for a laptop, so should i keep saving or get SB on my 2ds?

So this will just be a place to talk about different stuff and post updates on my game, feel free to talk here or even add updates on your own games as i love to hear those too. also *trying* to bring back Something...'s team (which i wont say the name lol) banned for about a week more btw.

So this will be a thread covering almost everything to help make good games, from A to ∞. anyways stuff like making important features, easter eggs and title screens. -feel free to add your own tips too!

so I found a way to move the entire bg sheet to the sp page and save it as a sprite sheet, so now you can also use the bg stuff as sprites too (which I know I have always wanted to try.) this is easy to do and only takes around 1.32 seconds! if you want to know how just tell me and ill tell you

so i was gonba make a nice post with screenshots and stuff but as i go onto miiverse it says "your ability to post and yeah has been temporary disabled blah blah blah" anyways so im banned now, 2 weeks usual. but its not a right ban, as i dident do anything wrong. said "personal info" but anyone can get banned for that at anytime! anyways onto the topic ↓↓↓↓

so we have decided to try to make one big file explaining how different coding stuff works, anyone is welcome to pitch in to help, so stuff like, spanim, making a sprite move, bgcollision, anything we think of, in the end it will be one big game dev file to make things go easyer for everyone.

so for my game i still need lots of sprites, and maybe some maps. btw, by team i just mean people helping make this. i would love it if anyone would make weapon sprites especially. i need help in sp collision at the moment. if you just want help/ wanna talk, come here, im almost always on miiverse.

in the comments I will give a short version of the story planned for Stick Warfare, its very unplanned right now, if you want to change or have ideas for it post them in the comments, ill be happy to see what you think, also I still need a spriter to make weapons and such for me, if you want to help just tell me. i FINALLY finished collision on it but as hydra always says "cut off one error and two more shall take its place" my jumping code makes the sprite fall through the blocks, so i need help making a better one. also i need someone to make weapon sprites, any weapons, guns, swords, pistols, small weapons, big, medium, any type.

so i keep trying to do BGcollision but it keeps not working, i would just like anything, my sprite is in the middle of the screen and the bg moves. just for one tile, maybe a key to a demo or something. PLEASE HELP ME. its the only holding me from making my game.

i would like scrolling text for my end credits, like going upwards, like a movie end credits. is this possible?
