I like it so far. I haven't really delved into figuring out exactly how to use it, but it's def. capable of a lot that would otherwise take forever to make myself. Some of the functions it allows, like fast fourier transform are quite technical- I had to look up what it even meant! So I'm just satisfied that the DLC and samples give me the opportunity to learn about (and play with) something new.

Wow, this game has very strong VVVVVVibes! And the controls are much more comfortable on 3DS.

During a long roadtrip this past weekend, I made this totally playable clone of Ball, the first Game & Watch game. It just needs graphics, tuning, and polish.

The main hurdle to overcome if you're used to JS is you can't create "objects" in BASIC like you can in JS. You'll have to get creative with 2D arrays instead.

Testing objects with smooth movement and my tile collision detection algorithm. New 3DS can han handle just over 100 objects at 60fps. Old 3DS can handle 27 objects.

Try it out! This little program will use TALK to speak random Japanese syllables to itself in different voices, almost as if your're intercepting a conversation between aliens from outer space...
