Seems pointless (because you can't save your progress at all)

Here's my time getting the Easter Egg. I would've gotten S rank if I knew about the Easter Egg and got it in advance.

Which item would that be, and how do I get it?

Are you still taking Boss suggestions? If you still are, I'd like to suggest this Boss. Master Skeleton (SPDEF: 1397). It can summon Skeleton minions (SPDEF: 999), swing its sword, and stun you by screeching.

Something weird I'd like to point out. Bub is able to delete a one way sign by spiting out a Bubble on it, not sure if this is intentional or not. BTW, I love the course creator.

10-4 Was the one of the hardest levels, IMO.
